Abstract:
This study entitled "Analysis of Character Values SMP 2 Student
Academic Year XIII Koto Kampar 2012-2013". The formulation of the problem
in this research are: 1) how the picture of the character values of students per class
SMP N 2 XIII Koto Kampar, 2) how is the character values of students by sex in
SMP N 2 XIII Koto Kampar, 3) how is the character values based parent
education students at SMP N 2 XIII Koto Kampar, 4) how is the character values
based on the work of parents of students at SMP N 2 XIII Koto Kampar. This
study is expected to: a) the students can be used as guidelines in the process of
self-development to change the character values of behavior towards a positive
direction, b) can be used as guidelines for teachers in making teaching students to
be able to direct the behavior of the values of the student's character a positive
direction, c) as an input for the school in hubungangnya with behavioral coaching
activities, and moral character of students, 4) for subsequent researchers can
pursue in doing research in the same field, 5) as additional material information in
continuing further research . This study is the assumption a) every student has the
values of a different character, b) student character values can be measured and
identified by the indicators. The place and time of the study, namely SMP 2 XIII
Koto Kampar in April 2013. SMP student population consists darti 2 XIII Koto
Kampar as many as 150 students and a sample of 150 students. The data is
captured on the analysis of student character values in SMP 2 XIII Koto Kampar.
In that study used questionnaires to obtain. Further recommendations of this study
were 1) to students who have high levels of character values are classified as very
less, less, and being able to motivate yourself into a better direction so as to
improve performance in the learning process, 2) to the panel of teachers,
especially in SMP 2 XIII Koto Kampar so much seek to increase the values of the
character so that students get the best education and get a good personality too
young generation, 3) BK teachers may provide guidance particularly for students
whose character level is very less value, less , and are, so they have a good
personality and morals, 4) to the parents to instill the values of good karaketer to
their children, so that one day they become a good boy, 5) to further research is
expected to be able to assess more exhaustive of the factors that affect the values
of the character of students
