PERGESERAN PERAN NINIK MAMAK TERHADAP CUCU KEMANAKAN (STUDI KASUS DESA TANJUNG KECAMATAN KOTO KAMPAR HULU KABUPATEN KAMPAR)

Abstract

This study aims to look at how the Ninik Mamak role in society as normative and to see whether the shift that occurred in the village community and the headland to see what factors are causing a shift in the role of the Cucu Kemanakan of Ninik Mamak. To analyze the data was carried out qualitative research, the data collected is then presented which describe or narrate descriptive study with a description logical sentences in order to understand and easy to understand. The research conducted in the village of Tanjung Koto Kampar Hulu Kampar district. the results of this study indicate a change or shift in the role of the Ninik Mamak to Cucu Kemanakan various fields such as economics, education, disputes, inheritance, marriage and government fields. this is the case by several factors among them. Technological factor: the development of technology make the role Ninik Mamak be reduced, because Cucu Kemanakan already know the information from the outside through television, internet, and hedphone. Education factor: because higher education Cucu Kemanakan of Ninik Mamak make of Ninik Mamak underappreciated by Cucu Kemanakan. Economic factor: the limited ability of a Ninik Mamak make Ninik Mamak forget Cucu Kemanakan. Government regulatory factor: absence of government regulations that conflict with customary rules and regulations must be adhered to by all Indonesian society and traditional rules no longer apply.
