Abstract:
This study aims to determine whether the application of the Cooperative
learning jigsaw type can increase student motivation seventh grade in the
subjects of history SMP STATE 3 Downstream Kuantan Kuantan District
Singingi. The subjects were students of class VII STATE junior Downstream
Kabupeten Kuantan Kuantan Singingi totaling 28 students consisting of 14 male
students and 14 female students. data collection in this study was the
observation of students' motivation in learning activities, group activities, and
teacher activities.
of the results of this study can be concluded that implementation
jigsaw cooperative learning model to improve learning motivation junior
history class VII STATE 3 Hilir Regency Kuantan Kuantan Singingi. results
showed study activity motivation in learning overall in the first cycle was
51.07% (average) increased to 77.64% (high) in the second cycle is. the
average percentage of students in a group activity cycle I 56.25% (average)
increased to 81.5% (high) while the teacher normaly overall 75.44% in the first
cycle (quite perfect) and an increase in the second cycle at 81 , 29% (perfect)
Jigsaw cooperative learning model is done in junior high school STATE 3
kuantan Hilir Regency Kuantan Singingi.
