PERKEMBANGAN INDUSTRI KUSEN DI KABUPATEN KAMPAR STUDI KASUS KECAMATAN BANGKINANG SEBERANG

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was conducted in Bangkinang Seberang district Kampar regency by observation area. The purpose of this study is: to determine how the development of the door frame industrial in Kampar regency of Riau Province. The results of this study will be expected to give benefits the institutions involved inorder to make industrial development policy especially for the development of the industry in the future and information material for future research. The data used in this research were by using questionnaires, observation and interviews, and the sampling method used is the census. Where the number of entrepreneurs of door frame in the Bangkinang Seberang District were 17 units as representing of Kampar regency. The data gathered were analyzed by analysis methods that are describtive and the whole potential in the door frame industry was analyzed by using SWOT analysis to see which the strength and weak factors (internal factors) and opportunities and threats factors (external factors). The results of this research that the door frame industry in Kampar regency was unfavorable developments, it could be seen from the increasing of business units that are in the process of production. The Difficulties in getting raw materials of wood becomes a major factor why the industry is not growing. The potential of raw materials to make this industry even the production could be stopped. But still evolved from the potential workforce owned, investment / capital easily, production and government policies that still support this industry to continue to thrive.
