KAJIAN SISTEM JARINGAN SUNGAI PETAI II SEBAGAI SALURAN KOLEKTOR SEKUNDER DI KOTA BANGKINANG

Abstract

Rain fall with high intensity has causing flood and over flowing water in several point of Petai II river region. Like that usually happen in Jendral Sudirman street in front of Partai Persatuan Pembangunan branch building of Bangkinang city. In civilian region on Anugerah Kampung Dalam street, Teuku Umar street in Inpres Traditional market and in the cross road between Agus Salim street with Teuku Umar street. The fload was happened because of the drainage could not accommodate. The surface run off water flowing. The purpose from the research is to analyse the capacity of Petai II river. So in case the problem from drainage it self could be deal with it. 15th years rain fall data analysis data of Pasar Kampar Territory Station was used to caunt the rain fall design, the field survey was needed to get the flow pattern and the existing dimension, moreover the value of rain fall design was used to get the debit design price with certain repeated period. The debit design was used to determine the dimension of drainage. The results of study showed the capacity of Petai II river in existing condition was not in accordance with the debit of surface current that happened so it need to make a changes the drainage dimension for Petai II river until 70%.
