Abstract:
The purposes of this research are to know about:1) description of education and lesson
problems of students who are often absent class X before the implementation of group
guidance, 2) description of education and lesson problems of students who are often
absent class X after the implementation of group guidance,3)the differences between
education and learning problems of students who are often absent class X before and
after the implementation group guidance,4) the influence of group guidance for
decrease education and learning problems of students who are often absent.The
population in this research were all students that often absent in class X 3, X 5, X 7, X 9
SMA 10 in Pekanbaru,and the total of sample is 16 people with the technique of
"purposive sampling".The method used was a quasi experiment One Group: one group
pre-test and post-test design.To find out the problems of education and lesson of
students who are often absent used questionnaires.Analyze datas was conducted using
percentage statistical techniques, to difference education and learning problems of
students before and after conducted group guidance used "t" test.Of calculations "t"
test obtained tcalculation is bigger than ttable (14.20> 2.042) at 5% level.Therefore Ho is
rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is a difference before and after conducted
group guidance for decrease of education and the learning problems of students who
are often absent class X SMA 10Pekanbaru school year 2012/2013.Then from the
calculation of the product momen r = 0.53 determinant coefficient r2 = 0.28.Thus it can
be seen, the influence of group guidance services for decrease of education and
learning problems of students who are often absent class X SMA 10 Pekanbaru school
year 2012/2013 is low, that is 28%.Based on the results of research conducted, it can be
concluded after conducted group guidance, education and learning problems of
students who are often absent class X there is a decrease.
