Abstract

Management Systems Occupational Health and Safety is very important to apply to a company, because it can reduce the rate of accidents that may occur. Therefore the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety System should be conducted objectively and in accordance with applicable regulations. Phenomenon occurs: The existence of employees who do not comply with work procedures, presence of employees who use personal protective equipment that is damaged or improper use, lack of supervision on the part of management, especially in terms of employee safety. Formulation of the research problem is: "How Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) at mills (MCC) Sei Pagar PT. PTPN V? ". While the purpose of the study was to analyze whether the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) at mills (MCC) Sei Pagar PT. PTPN V is within the rules. Research done in PT. PTPN V Sei Pagar. As made in the respondent sample consisted of 61 people. The data was collected by means of questionnaires and interviews to conduct research respondents. Types and sources of data that do consist of primary data in the form of data from questionnaires and interviews, as well as the secondary data on the overview related companies where research is conducted. The data were analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) at mills (MCC) Sei Pagar PT. PTPN V as a whole is a good criterion.
