Abstract:
The study was conducted at sites of EDC merchant PT.Sysfo Bahana
Pekanbaru Main branch in order to analyze the influence of risk perception and
confidence in the loyalty of merchants using EDC. The study population was a
merchant who subscribe EDC, amounting to 533 merchants. The sampling method
that produces Slovin total sample of 84 merchants who were selected by purposive
sampling method. Data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis.
The results showed that simultaneous variable risk perception and confidence
level berpengaru significant impact merchant loyalty. In partial summary, the higher
the risk perceived by the merchant using EDC in the lower level of loyalty despite the
impacts are not significant. The higher the level of trust towards perusaahan
merchant, the higher the loyalty of their use of EDC companies.
Recommendation that can be given is that the company provide a guarantee to
the merchant that the entire EDC can work well, do not harm the user, and the
company will be responsive to come to the location of the merchant in the event of
technical problems on the EDC. In addition it is also recommended that the company
officials are motivated to provide excellent service and on time.
