dc.description.abstract	The research of charactristic of aquatic plants at silais habitat should be conducted because they have important roles to protect selais sustainability. This study was conducted in maret-agustus 2012, and purpusive were to identify species of aquatic plants and biomass in segati river. Sampling were conducted using quadrate transects oflxlm.A total of spesies of aquatic plants were found and there divided into three group based on their morphoecology i.e. emergent, free floating , and free sub merged. Emergent group was the most predominant (five species) followed by free floating (two species), free sub merged (one species). Pandanus tectorius (emergent) had the higest density and biomass	en_US
