PEMBANGUNAN PERTANIAN DI KECAMATAN RUMBAI KOTA PEKANBARU TAHUN 2011

Abstract

Agricultural development is one of the national development agenda in order to strengthen the resilience of the national economy in the field of food. This can be seen with the Law No. 41 Year 2009 on the Protection of Agricultural Land Sustainable Food. What concerns the Act is certainly not just food crops alone but others as well as crops and horticulture. This study deals with what has been the government's vision of the city of Pekanbaru the Department of Agriculture. Served in the agricultural sector with the vision of agribusiness centers in the city of Pekanbaru which can improve the availability of vegetable protein. It is based on the pattern of community life in the city of Pekanbaru the consumer, agricultural products which are completely purchased. So with such Pekanbaru City government, particularly the Department of Agriculture is trying to meet all the planning of agricultural development in accordance with the potential of some areas in the city of Pekanbaru that still has the potential of agriculture to develop. Mainly located in the district agriculture Rumbai that still has great potential to be developed. However, in the stage of realization was experiencing multiple barriers to implementation, such as budget, availability of land, and implementers (government and farmers).
