Abstract:
Pekanbaru City is now one of the city where people migrated from various parts of Indonesia they wander with no purpose that aims to continue the study period or school then others came to the city of Pekanbaru to find work. Migrate processes undertaken by these people can be called with migration. In the sociology of migration are included in one form of social mobility.
The research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru that aims to uncover patterns of mobility which is done by the sellers Dawet Ayu Banjarnegara the move from the home to the city of Pekanbaru. Dawet ayu Banjarnegara is a drink consisting of milk, sugar water Java or Juruh and its contents dawet made from rice flour, usually sell using typical cart. The study was done to reveal the background of the seller Dawet Ayu displacement from the origin to the city of Pekanbaru, including the displacement process, for further revealed also on socio-economic conditions of respondents and the latter was expressed about the form of engagement with the region of origin of respondents who specialize more in the families in the village.
The results of this study indicate that the background of the seller's Dawet Ayu leave the area of origin is because they want to wander while looking for a job overseas and then get a better livelihood and respondents with diverse migration process before becoming a salesman Dawet Ayu in Pekanbaru. Socio-economic conditions of the seller Dawet Ayu each diverse changes anyway, form attachments with their families in the study respondents look pretty good because the respondents still frequently return home and send money to help the families in their economies.
