dc.description.abstract This study is motivated by low activity and learning outcomes of students. It’s caused by some factors in improving the learning process, and the one-way-learning which is caused by teacher’s domination by using lecture method. Based of that problem the research about class action reseach is needed to increase the students. The purpose of this study is to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of the students in grade V SDN 011 Penarikan, Langgam sub-district. The subject of this study is taken from the students of grade V SDN 011 Penarikan, Langgam sub-district, in the period of even semester academic year 2011/2012. Subject numbered 20 students, consisting 11 boys and 9 girls. The study instrument covered syllabus, RPP (lesson plans), students and teacher sheets of observation activity, students worksheets, and daily test sheets. Each cycle implemented for three meetings and one-time daily tests. The aim of two cycle activity of this study is to look for changes that occur in any implementation of Think Pair Square (TPS) learning which is performed in each meeting. The result of the study shows the increasing scores of students learning outcomes. The increased result of cycle I is 62,16 while in the cycle II is 71,70 with increased 9,5 The percentage of KKM increase achievement is increased from 45 % to 80 % with increased 35 % From the result of this study shows 80 % students successfully achieved the mathematics learning outcomes. en_US
