dc.description.abstract	The research was conducted in Riau Province, The purpose of this research to determine how much influence the economic growth on employment in Riau Province. This research uses skunder data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik, Dinas Tenaga Kerja Riau, Badan Penanaman Modal dan Promosi Daerah. Analysis model used is the employment elasticity analysis model Based on the survey results revealed that the elasticity of employment opportunities in the County is at 1.76% (> 1) which means that there is a relationship between the elasticity of employment and economic growth Growth in GDP and increases in labor is a problem that must be examined in order to avoid an imbalance sector with other sectors In the implementation of the government policy decision makers to pay attention to the dominant sectors that affect employment and economic growth	en_US
