Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengetahuan orang tua terhadap dampak televisi pada perkembangan anak usia sekolah

Abstract

This research is intended to obtain the overview of the factors on the level of education and occupational parental knowledge impacts the television on children of primary school. This research uses questionnaire, analyze with cross sectional approach. It uses random sampling method with proportional stratified random sampling technique. This research uses chi square statistic method with 161 respondents. The results for the correlation between education on the impact of television obtained p value = 0.000 (p value> 0.05), meaning that there is a correlation between educational factors with the level of knowledge. And the results of the study to work factors on the level of knowledge obtained p value = 0.059 (p value> 0.05), that meaning is not relationship between the level of knowledge of occupational factors. Therefore, the need to examine other factors that may affect the level of knowledge of parents, such as: age, residence, experience and resources
