EFFECT OF WORK DISCIPLINE AND INCENTIVE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE DEPARTEMENT OF UPT SERVICE IN RIAU PROVINCE LIBRARY

Abstract

This Research was conducted to employee’s departement of UPT Service in Riau Province Library. The purpose of this research is to know how big effect of work discipline and incentive on employee performance departement of UPT Service in Riau Province Library. Population in this research is all employee departement of UPT Service in Riau Province Library. Intake of sample conducted by making the overall of population become respondent namely counted 54 people. Analysis method used is quantitative descriptive method that use multiple linear regression constructively program of SPSS version 19. From the results of testing that has been done, the partial test (t test) showed that the incentive variables have the most significant effect on the employee performance department of UPT Service in Riau Province Library. The simultant test (F test) showed that the variables of work discipline and incentives have a significant effect on employee performance. The influence (R 2 ) by the variable work discipline and incentive simultantly on the performance variable is equal to 98.4% while the remaining 1.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
