Abstrak This research was done in the fifth grade at SDN 150 Pekanbaru Mathematics integers on the material, students are still many who have not reached the KKM. This shows that due to the low learning outcomes approach is less precise, less teachers also varying methods so that students only being the listeners and they are not actively involved. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of students of class five Maths SDN 150 Pekanbaru by applying learning model directly using media claw. Formulation of the problem of this study is whether the application of direct instruction with media to improve learning outcomes claw mathematics in grade five SDN 150 Pekanbaru. Data collected through observation using the observation sheet for learning models directly through UH UH I and II for learning outcomes data. The results increased each cycle. Increased students’ activities every meeting at the cycle. With the average first cycle meeting at 76.92%, while the average of all the meetings in the second cycle was 85.13% with a margin improvement 15:28. Increased student activity every meeting at every cycle. With an average of all the meetings in the first cycle was 66.67%, while the average of all the meetings in the second cycle was 80.54% with a margin increase is 13.87%. The application of direct instructional model with claw media can improve student learning outcomes in math class five Pekanbaru SDN 150 TP. 2012/2013. The results with the application of learning models directly using claw media can improve student learning outcomes.
