PENERAPAN MODEL QUANTUM TEACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA
KELAS Vc SDN 169 PEKANBARU

Abstract
The problem in this study is in the teachers still use convensional way in learning process, students are less involved in the learning process, more teachers use the lecture method, even the teacher do not use instruktional model, the source of learning only from teachers and teaching materials, the learning process does not pay attention to its association with student experience that leads to lower student learning outcomes. Based on these problem it is necessary to find out the solutions by using a model that is closely related to students experiences in daily life, and most importanly, to create a fun learning atmosphere. Quantum teaching model provide an opportunity for studens to develop the potential exists in students using TANDUR frame that can improve students’ sains learning outcomes at five grade at SDN 169 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study are students of five grade C of SDN 169 Pekanbaru year 2012/2013 the population of studens are 44 peoples. The research was conducted in two cycles, cycle 1 held two meetings with one final exam cycle and the cycle II also conducted two meetings and a repeat of the end of the cycle. Data collection instrument in this study are the observation sheet for student, observation sheets for teacher and final exams test cycle. The form of this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), the research aims to improve sains learning outcomes of five grade students at SDN 169 Pekanbaru. The results of this study indicated that the quantum teaching model can improve students result in sains lesson. It can be seen from the average value increased student learning outcomes. On the basis of the average score of student learning outcomes are 71.93 and 82.04 in the first cycle to be increased by a margin of 10.11 points (14.06%). While the average student learning outcomes in the secon cycle is 84.77 increased by a margin of 2.73 points (3.33%). These means quantum teaching model can improve sains outcomes of five grade students at SDN 169 Pekanbaru.
