PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK
PAIR SHARE (TPS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA PADA
SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 012 GADING SARI KECAMATAN TAPUNG
KABUPATEN KAMPARTAHUN PELAJARAN 2011/2012.

ABSTRACT
This research shaped Classroom Action Research (CAR) and aims to increase
the IPA Student Learning Outcomes SDN 012 Class IV Tapung Gading Sari District
Cooperative Learning with Application Type Think Pair Share the Academic Year
2011/2012 on the subject matter of natural resources. Students who are the object of
study is the fourth grade students totaling 35 people consisting of 17 men and 18
women, the data collected in this study were observation, testing, and documentation.
From the data analysis it can be seen an increase in the activity of the teacher.
Activities of teachers increased from 79 in the first cycle, to 91 on the second cycle, with
a huge increase of 12%. Likewise, the activities of students increased from 64% in the
first cycle, to 70% in the second cycle, with a large increase of 6%. While the learning
outcomes of 63 on a score basis, increased to 68 in the first cycle with a large increase
of 5 points, and increased to 72 in the second cycle, with large increase of 4 points.
Based on the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the application of
cooperative learning type of Think Pair Share to Improve Student Learning Outcomes
IPA Fourth Grade Elementary School District 012 Gading Sari Tapung Kampar district
in the school year 2011/2012.
