dc.description.abstract Swamps and peat lands in Indonesia are very broad, swampy land use and peat bogs for agriculture is a strategic choice for conventional offset shrinking productive land due to transfer of functions to the agricultural sector, such as housing and industry. However, the use of land for agriculture and peat swamp needs to be a plan of good water system to cope with crop failure occurs later. One way is by using the floodgates to control both the excess water on the farm or at the time of water shortage. Sub Desa Kuala Cenaku Friday Island has the potential fluctuations farms that utilize Indragiri River to irrigate farmland. Input daily showers of rain by 4 daily with over 5 years of time and analysis of the calculated discharge discharge discharge coefficient multiplied by the area of agricultural land. Analysis of the flow profile in the channel and floodgates using existing network using HEC-RAS program package version 4.0 where the analysis is carried out under unsteady flow of agricultural land is affected by fluctuations in the water level Indragiri River.
