dc.description.abstract	The research was conducted in July 2012 at Pambang Village, Bantan Sub District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. Method used is the method survey, the study aims to determine the type of fishing instruments kurau used fisherman at Pambang Village. Of the resultthis study to know that the fishing instrument kurau is net hauler. Based on its driving force, net hauler driven by the diesel machine and hydraulic. Fishing instruments do not meet the standard, because in general the speed of drag net hauler berkisar 30-90 m/s.	en_US
