dc.description.abstract This article discusses a two-step iterative method to solve nonlinear equations. This iterative method is derived by using the third truncated Thiele's continued fraction. Analytically the proposed method have a fourth order of convergence. Numerical computations show that the new method is comparable with other discussed meth- ods. en_US
