PENGGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI INTERNET DIKALANGAN MAHASISWA FAKULTAS ILMU SOSIAL DAN ILMU POLITIK UNIVERSITAS RIAU

Abstract

ABSTRACK Nowadays indonesia has wany constitusional base for the development of secience and technology which is as a pillar for national development. Internet is a technology that has important role in globalization era. Such as in learning activity at university students have to make theirselues accustomed by the new strategy in following aducation process. Students also should find the way in understanding what the lecturers taught. So that the rapid of quantity development for internet user can improve its information not only for academic but also for any general information. The purpose of doing this research is to know what kinds of internet faciliy that is used by students in supporting their lecture and what kinds of factors that influence them to use internet. Then, this research use inovation theory by Everret M. Rogers and descriptive quentitative for the methode by collecting the data technique that is questioner dan observatoin. Based on the result of the research, half of respondens use internet because of the need of informatin dan communication, it is shows the importhant of using internet for respondens need in supporting their lecture. Generally students at university use facility of internet such as : www for web. And search engine that is always used by students society also inovator is caused by the high of demands for study and the need of informatoin, and almost of respondens have known internet since at school.
