Abstract

Mapping survey of underground water depth in the village of Rimbo Panjang using the Schlumberger geo-electric method has been done. Data was collected using resistivity meter equipment at three points of the track with a length of 120 meters. The data obtained are current strength (I), potential difference (V) and the resistance (R). The data was processed using a progress and then the soil lithology information was obtained based on the resistivity value, depth, thickness, and number of layers. The results of the interpretation of the data show that track I, II, III have different resistivity values for each layer. Track I in the fourth layer has a resistivity value of 508.14 Ωm at a depth of 1.61 meters and is classified as a sandstone layer. Track II in the fourth layer has a resistivity value of 634.16 Ωm at a depth of 1.04 meters and is classified as sandstone. Track III in the fourth layer has a resistivity value of 315.53 Ωm at a depth of 7.37 meters classified as sandstone
