Item HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI MENGAJAR DENGAN INDEKS KINERJA DOSEN FISIP UR(2013-01-03) iskandar, EpiABSTRACT Education is an important step in realizing the intelligent Indonesian society. improving the quality of education is not only performed in schools, but also needs to be done in colleges or universities, because universities are the highest caste in the world of education, so as to realize all it is the responsibility of each faculty member, including the faculty of social sciences and professor of political science riau university. data from the quality assurance unit riau university in 2011 indicated that the performance index FISIP UR lecturer was ranked 9 out of 10 Faculties in the University Riau. This study aims to determine the motivation of teaching faculty and its relation to the performance index FISIP UR lecturer. type of research is survey research with a quantitative approach. data needs, including primary data obtained through filling a questionnaire and the results of secondary data. its population is 77 lecturers and 30 lecturers total sample. Data processing consists of processing quantitative data that is processed by using a simple mathematical calculation of correlation test and data processing pendeksriptifan results table. From the results of this research is a significant effect between motivation and teaching with the teaching of the performance index and the relationship is very strong, with the degree of correlation of 74.9% Performance Index Influenced teaching motivational teaching. Significant influence is also shown Pngabdian and Research Performance Index with a strong connection to the dedication and sufficient for the research, the relationship of 41.9% and 22.4% for the devotion to the study.
