Item KAJIAN KARAKTERISTIK DAN POTENSI SEDIMEN DIMUARASUNGAIKAMPAR(2013-02-12) Edison; Mubarak; Bathara, Lamun; ZukifliHasil analisis laboratorium terhadap besar butir contoh sedimen dasar laut di 76 lokasi pengambilan contoh, diperoleh lima jenis sebaran tekstur sedimen, yaitu: pasir, pasir lanauan, lanau pasiran, lanau, dan iumpur pasiran. Analisis mineral berat diperoleh 9 mineral berat, 3 mineral ringan, dan mineral lempung. Mineral berat yang diperoleh berupa magnetit, kasiterit, zirkon, tourmalin, pint, amfibole, ilmentt, markasit, dan piroksen, sedangkan untuk mineral ringan, yaitu kuarsa, muskovit, dan biotit. Dari analisis kimia terhadap contoh sedimen diperoleh unsur-unsur tanah jarang, seperti tantalum, ytrium, zirkonium, dan kandungan kasiterit yang berasosiasi dengan mineral lainnya. Volume sedimen pasir di Muara Sungai Kampar berdasarkan Peta Sebaran sedimen pasir fraksi medium pada hasil data bor BH-3 meter kedalaman pasir medium adalah 3,5 meter, maka total volume sebaran sedimen fraksi medium adalah 189.350 m3 Sedangkan berdasarkan Peta Sebaran sedimen pasir fraksi halus pada hasil data bor BH-2 meter kedalaman pasir halus adalah 4 meter, maka total volume sebaran sedimen fraksi halus adalah 426.800 m3. Sementara Berdasarkan Peta Sebaran sedimen pasir fraksi sangathalus berdasarkan hasil data bor BH-1 meter kedalaman pasir sangat halus adalah 6 meter, maka Total Volume sebaran sedimen fraksi halus adalah 690.600 m3.Item The Use Of Group Investigation To Improve Reading Comprehension Of The Second Year Student At Sman 2 Bangko(2013-01-23) ZukifliTHE USE OF GROUP INVESTIGATION TO IMPROVE READING COMPREHENSION OF THE SECOND YEAR STUDENT AT SMAN 2 BANGKO ZULKIFLI MAHDUM JISMULATIF English Language Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University Abstract This classroom action research was aimed to improve the reading comprehension of the second year students at SMAN 2 Bangko by using group investigation. This study consisted of one cycle of classroom treatment, in which that cycle consisted of four stages, namely Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The proficiency test (Pre- and Post-tests) was used for measurement, and also a set of observation sheets and field notes were used to gain the record of the classroom activity during the Group Investigation strategy applied. The subjects were 40 students from class XI IPA 1 at SMAN 2 Bangko. The results showed that the level of students’ ability at the post test was better than the pre-test. It means that there was improvement achieved by students after they were taught the use of group investigation strategy in reading comprehension. It was proved that there were 14 students or 35% students could achieve the level of good to excellent. Then, there were 26 students could achieve the level of average to good. And then, there were no students got neither the level of poor to average nor poor. It proved that the research was successful to help the students impr
