Item Aplikasi Beberapa Pestisida Nabati Dan Agens Hayati Untuk Medapatkan Benih Cabai Merah Yang Berkualitas(2018-03-12) Swastika, Sri; Yusuf, RachmiwatiIn chili farming (Capsicum annuum L.) the use of low quality seeds will result in a low percentage of germination, less tolerant of abiotic stress and more sensitive to plant diseases. The research conducted with literature review that is looking for references through secondary data collection that is data obtained from journals, books, documentation, and internet. Treatment of seeds such as priming, coating, pelleting, etc. to enhance germination and protect seeds from pests and diseases. Treatment of chili seeds with matriconditioning plus 0.1% clove oil is effective for increasing vigor and seed saving and reducing the percentage of contamination of Colletotrichum capsici, the cause of anthracnose disease in chili seeds. Biopriming of chili seed with Bacillus polymixa BG25 or Pseudomonas fluorescence PG01 effectively decreased the incidence of anthracnose disease from 81% in infected seed to 9%. Treatment of the Bacillus subtilis AH18 and Bacillus licheniformis K11 formulas is also known to decrease the infected Phytophthora infestation in the field. Oleh karena itu perlu diupayakan peningkatan produktivitas dan produksi padi yang merupakan bahan makanan pokok sebagaian besar masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi adalah dengan mengembangkan varietas unggul padi yang mampu beradaptasi dengan baik di daerah setempat. Varietas unggul telah memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap produksi padi nasional, varietas unggul dapat menyumbang 40 %, keberhasilan peningkatan produksi. Penggunaan varietas unggul merupakan upaya peningkatan produktivitas padi yang mudah dan murah. Untuk itu telah dilakukan penelitian lapang yang dilaksanakan di desa Rambah Baru, Kecamatan Rambah Samo, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu pada MT 2010. Rancangan yang dipakai adalah uji t, dengan membandingkan teknologi introduksi dengan teknologi petani. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui hasil benih yang didapatkan dengan teknologi introduksi spesifik lokasi (4.900 kg/ha GKP) berbeda nyata dan lebih menguntungkan ( BC rasio 1,85) dengan hasil benih yang dihasilkan petani (3.800 kg/ha GKP) dengan BC rasio (1,26).Item Kendala Dan Solusi Mempertahankan Multifungsi Lahan Petanian Untuk Kemandirian Pangan Berkelanjutan(2018-03-12) Yusuf, Rachmiwati; Swastika, Sri; Zulfia, VionaIn Indonesia the role of the agricultural sector is very important in supporting the national economy, but the community's appreciation of agriculture is relative low compared with other sectors. People in Indonesia are new to 2 to 3 types multifunctional of agricultural land, that is function keeper an groundwater supply, controller flood and provider of employment. Whereas the function of agricultural land for humanity is much more, as a producer of agricultural products, play a role in mitigating flooding, erosion and sedimentation control, mitigation air temperature increases, natural resource recycling, organic waste container, a deduction of nitrate levels in ground water and so on. Crop failure in a production center can cause shock in other regions, especially in areas that are not agricultural centers. Changes in rainfall patterns, increased extreme climate events, and rising air temperatures and sea water pollution have caused agricultural production, especially the food crop sub-sector to decline significantly. For this reason, the Research and Development Agency has developed adaptive technology with climate change, namely the integrated Planting Calendar (KATAM) information system. The development of integrated planting calendars is a necessity, which is expected to increase agricultural yields and reduce crop losses due to droughts and floods. This planting calendar provides complete information for farmers. The operational guidelines are set at the sub-district level. KATAM (planting calendar) as one of the important tools in adjusting cropping patterns of food crops with climate change. Delivering information about the direction, strategy and policies of the agricultural sector on climate change in the form of a road map to stakeholders and related parties. Referring to the Recapitulation of the Calendar of Rice Planting Potential of Siak Regency, the planting season of MH 2017/2018 (October 2017 - March 2018), it is known that the paddy planting index is 200%. The five main principles of sustainable development are the principles of (1) intergenerational justice; (2) justice in one generation; (3) early prevention; (4) protection of biodiversity; and (5) the internalization of environmental costs and incentive mechanisms. The problem faced by smallholder oil palm farmers in the Upper Kampar River Basin is low productivity which results in low income of farmers due to high input prices and cheap output prices and far market access. The research objective is to find a model for the development of community oil palm plantations that function as conservation by implementing GAP. The method used is the Location Quotient (LQ) to analyze the export capacity of a region's economy and the level of adequacy of goods / services from a region's local production and spatial analysis to analyze the suitability of spatial and land suitability. The hypothesis is that community oil palm plantations in the upper Kampar watershed are not feasible to be developed because they are not suitable in terms of spatial suitability, land slope, land availability, market availability, difficult access to financial institutionsItem PERAN POPT TERHADAP PERILAKU PETANI PADI DALAM PENGGUNAAN DAN PENANGANAN PESTISIDA DI KECAMATAN BUNGA RAYA KABUPATEN SIAK(2019-11) Fuadi, Indra; Swastika, Sri; Yusuf, RachmiwatiEfforts to control Plant Pest Organisms based on the principle of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) prioritize pre-emptive measures so that environmental sustainability can be maintained and make farmers as IPM experts. In practice, the application of pesticides is still considered one of the best solutions for farmers in controlling pests. The behavior of farmers who lack discipline in the use of pesticides, both in terms of type, dosage and frequency, has the potential to leave residues in the field. Improper handling of pesticides and their packaging also has a negative impact on the environment. The existence of functional officials controlling plant pests in charge of carrying out activities of observation, forecasting and pest control is one of the factors that determine the success of IPM implementation. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of functional officials controlling plant pests on the behavior of rice farmers in the use and handling of pesticides in Bunga Raya District, Siak Regency. The study was conducted in January to April 2019. The study was conducted on 40 sample farmers by purposive sampling through structured interviews using questionnaires. The results show that 67.5% of farmers have knowledge of IPM but 50% have applied it. As many as 77.5% mixed with several types of pesticides and 35% consulted with officer before mixing. In the application, only 5% applied pesticides because of officer recommendations, the biggest was due to the presence of pest attacks in the field at 55% and 37.5% due to habits or following farmers' routine schedules. The handling of pesticide packaging after application of 87.5% was washed and thrown in the trenches, 32.5% were buried and 27.5 burned. The high knowledge of pesticides will ultimately affect the behavior of farmers in using pesticides. The role of the officer is very important as a control of the behavior of farmers in the use and handling of pesticides in the field.Item POTENSI DAN KENDALA PEMANFAATAN PESTISIDA NABATI DALAM PENDALIAN HAMA PADA BUDIDAYA SAYURAN ORGANIK(2014-05-22) Yusuf, RachmiwatiIndonesia memiliki kekayaan flora yang sangat beragam, mengandung cukup banyak jenis tumbuh-tumbuhan yang merupakan sumber bahan pestisida nabati yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengendalian hama. Data dari berbagai provinsi di Indonesia menyebutkan lebih 40 jenis tumbuhan berpotensi sebagai pestisida nabati. Famili tumbuhan yang dianggap merupakan sumber potensial pestisida nabati adalah Meliaceae, Annonaceae, Asteraceae, Piperaceae dan Rutaceae, namun hal ini tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk ditemukannya famili tumbuhan yang baru. Didasari oleh banyaknya jenis tumbuhan yang memiliki khasiat sebagai pestisida nabati, maka penggalian potensi tumbuhan sebagai sumber pestisida nabati sebagai alternatif pengendalian hama cukup tepat. Dalam penggunaannya pestisida nabati mempunyai beberapa keunggulan dan kelemahan. Keunggulan pestisida nabati adalah : murah dan mudah dibuat sendiri oleh petani; relatif aman terhadap lingkungan; tidak menyebabkan keracunan pada tanaman; sulit menimbulkan kekebalan terhadap hama; kompatibel digabung dengan cara pengendalian yang lain;menghasilkan produk pertanian yang sehat karena bebas residu pestisida kimia.Sementara, kelemahannya adalah : daya tahan yang singkat (sangat mudah berubah/terurai), oleh karena itu volume aplikasi harus direncanakan dengan cermat agar efisien;konsentrasi larutan yang dihasilkan masih tidak konsisten karena sangat tergantung pada tingkat kesegaran bahan baku.
