Item Consumer Productat Tributesand Characteristics That Influence Consumer Attitudesin Purchasing White Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus undatus)(2013-01-16) Armaidah; Restuhadi,Fajar; Yusri,JumatriWhite dragon fruit (Hylocereus undatus) is an exotic fruit that increasingly more popular now. The selling price of the white dragon fruit at Supermarket or minimarket is between Rp.15.000,00-Rp. 18.000,00/kg. There is no special marketing strategy applied by the farmers, except by selling the fruits directly to buyers (direct selling) or offering it to Supermarkets and Minimarkets. This research was aimed to study the product’s attributes and consumer’s characteristics that influenced the consumer’s willingness to buy the fruit. The survey shows that the respondents are mostly at aproductive age (15-50 years old), with alevel of education of at university degree or equal, and the average of revenue per month ranged between Rp. 1,000,000,00-Rp. 5,000,000,00, with the number of family members in the category of small (1-4 person), which have been buying and eating the white dragon fruit for the last 12months. The respondents also purchased the bulk ofthe white dragon fruit by buying directly to the supermarket, with the average purchased of 3.12kg/month. The reason to consume white dragon fruit is due to its attributes (77%). The attributes of white dragon fruit that influenced the respondent’s purchasing decisionsare the price, taste, service, and as the preference fruits of family members. The motivation that dominates the purchasing decision of the dragon fruit is as the favorite fruit of family members.Plotting the fruits attributes and preferences into a Cartessian diagram shows that the first quadrant is filled with the size of the fruit, the shelf life and availability in the market.While the second quadrant is filled with the price, taste, service and favorite family members. On the other hands, the third quadrant is filled with the suggestion of friend and information from Supermarket, while the last of the fourth quadrant is filled with loyalty. Based on the analysis of Fishbein’s Multiatribute, the consumer attitudes of white dragon fruit fallin the category of rathergood.Item Respon Permintaan Ikan Di Provinsi Riau(2013-01-16) Julia, Dinda; Bakce,Djaimi; Yusri,JumatriThis research aim to analyze the dominant factors affecting the fish consumption expenditure in Riau Province and how is the respond of demand on fish upon the dominant factor that affecting it. In this research the fish are divided into three groups, fresh, salted and preserved fish, and shrimp and other aquatic animals. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of raw data from the national socio-economic survey in 2008 which was obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics Indonesia. The collected data is the data of household spending on fish consumption in Riau Province, the price, the number of household members, the area (towns and villages), as well as the wife’s educational level of the household. The analytical method that is used is Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) with Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) as the model. The study results showed that: (1) household income is a factor that determines more upon the expenditure of salted and preserved and fresh fish rather than the price change, which preserved and salted fish is unresponsive upon the changes in income, while fresh fish is responsive, (2) expenditure on shrimp and other aquatic animals is unresponsively affected by the price of shrimp and other aquatic animals itself and the price of fresh fish. Keywords: Fish, Elasticity, Respond.Item Respon Petani Terhadap Program Sekolah Lapang Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (Sl-Ptt) Padi Sawah di Desa Pulau Birandang Kecamatan Kampar Timur Kabupaten Kampar(2013-06-25) Lestari, Wahyu; Rabesdini,Diana; Yusri,JumatriThe purpose of this research is to know farmer perception and response concerning Integrated Crop Management Field School (Sekolah Lapang Pengeloaan Tanaman Terpadu/SL-PTT) in the Pulau Birandang village. This research was conducted from May 2012 to September 2012. The method that the reasearch used was survey method, the purpose this research used descriptive analysis and Likert Scale. The sample take used by random sampling. The sampling of the research was 30 farmers SL-PTT participants. Farmer perception score against SL-PTT program at Pulau Birandang Village averagely 2.7 with a very good category. Farmers feel that this program is able to provide advantages compared with previously evidenced by increased production, with a good level of alignment means that components of a given technology in accordance with the needs and wishes of farmers, the complexity is not difficult component technology means farmers can do themselves, can be tried in whatever scale and easily observed in a relatively more quickly. From the aspect of knowledge, farmers expressed good response as more than 60% of the sample farmers have increased knowledge after completing my SL-PTT. Aspects of good expressed as changes in the attitude of farmers' attitudes towards innovation ranging from the familiar to want to apply. Aspects of skill has reached a condition where farmers have been skilled in the management of their farm.Item Tingkat Partisipasi Anggota Pada Koperasi Unit Desa (KUD) Cinta Damai di Desa Cinta Damai Kecamatan Tapung Hilir Kabupaten Kampar(2013-07-15) Raihanisyah; Sayamar,Eri; Yusri,JumatriMember participation is a determining factor for reciprocation of a cooperative. Therefore, knowledge of the level of member participation in the cooperative becomes very important for the cooperative to set the future stategy. This study aims to: (1) Determine the member participation level of Village Cooperatives Cinta Damai; (2) Determine the factors that influence the member participation level of Village Cooperatives inta Damai. This study conducted at Village Cooperatives Cinta Damai in the Village Cinta Damai District TapungHilir-Kampar Regency for 7 months from June 2012 to January 2013. The study was conducted by survey method, the method of sampling is done by Simple Random Sampling, and the sample was taken 42 participants of the total population 614 participants by using Slovin formula. The data of participation level analyzed by using the Likert scale and the factors that influence participation rates were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis. This study concludes that the overall participation level of members of Village Cooperatives CintaDamai obtains scores 1,928, including participation rates in the moderate range (1,470-2,057). Whereas the factors that influence the level of members particiption of KUD Cinta Damai based on partial test at significance level of 5% suggest that income, number of dependents and level of education have a significant effect on the participation of member with significance < 0,05.
