Item FARMERS PERCEPTION AND PROCESS OF ADOPTION AND DIFFUSION OF OIL PALM CULTIVATION TECHNOLOGY IN SENAMA NENEK VILLAGE TAPUNG HULU KAMPAR RIAU(2014-03-08) Arifudin; Sayamar, Eri; Yulida, Roza; Yusri, Jum'atri; Rosnita; Ulfi, BaityThe research aims to investigate famers perception about oil palm cultivation and to know the process of adoption and diffusion among farmers. The research method was survey with participatory rural appraisal (PRA) technique through focus group discussion (FGD) and interviwed to 15 independent smallholder farmers. Descriptive analysis was done to analyze the fisrt and second purpose. The research result indicate, fisr, perception of farmers about farming of oil palm cultivation, farmers feel that palm oil cultivation profitable and farly easy to cultivate. Farmers also found that oil palm cultivation profitable and fairly easy to cultivate. Farmers also found that oil palm cultivation does not demage the environment. The positive attitude has been shown by the farmers and the surrounding communities in term of supporting for farming of oil palm cultivation. Second the adoption process started from the view, interested, observaing, trying in small and large scale to furher adopt a boader scale and adopting. While the process of diffusion is a continuous process af adoption, after ex-plasma smallholder farmers apply, the independent smallholder farmers imitate to cultivate oil palmItem PERILAKU KONSUMSI SUSU DI PROPINSI SUMATERA BARAT(2014-03-07) Sartika, Winda; Yusri, Jum'atriThe purposes of this research are: (l) term cf milk connrmption by households in the provinces of West Sumatra, (2) Conduct of milk consumption by households in the province of West Sumatra. The object of this research is household consumption of milk. The data used in theform of raw datafor the consumption module SU,SENI,S of Wesl Sumatra province in 2005, collected by the Central Bureau of Statistics. In order to get the behavior of demand, econometric approach was used to build models of a single request for milk. The model is expected by Ordinary Least Square technique.There are four types of millc consumed by people in WesLSumatra provinee including milk powder, condensed milk, liquid milk from /bctory.and fresh milk, Poitdered milk is con1umed by I1.3% of the population, sweetened condensed milk is consumed by 10.8% of the population, liquid milk is consumed by 1.06% of the poputation andfresh milk is consumed by only 0.4% of the population. The variation of the price of milk, the level of household income and number of household members give small contribution to the variation in household consumption of milN where R2 value in the model ranges from 0080-0232. From the three suspected variables, there ore only two variables that have signifcant influence including the ptice of milk and the number of household tnembers in urban areas while there was only one variable (the price of milk) that has significant influences in rural area. Value of milk powder price elasticity is inelastic. Thus, In sweetened condensed milk, there is only one variable (the price of milk) that has signifcant effect in urban areas, while in rural areas is household incomeItem POLA KONSUMSI KOMODI PANGAN HEWANI RUMAHTANGGA DI WILAYAH PERDESAAN KOTA PADANG PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT(2014-03-08) Jafrinur; Wati, Rahmi; Yusri, Jum'atriPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pola konsumsi pangan hewani asal ternak rumahtangga di wilayah perdesaan koata padang provinsi sumtra barat dan mengembangkan fungsi konsumsi yang lebih spesifik untuk komoditi tersebut dengan mengeskplor variable-variabel sosiodemografi dan pengetahuan konsumen akan gizisebagai variable yang diduga sangat menentukan tingkat konsumsi seseorang terhadap komoditi tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah perdesaan kota padang provinsi sumtra barat. Metoda yang dipakai adalah metode survey. Responden penelitian adalah rumahtangga yang mengkonsumsi komoditi panganhewani asal ternak diwilayah perdesaan kota padang dengan jumlah 214 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data nilai pengeluaran total untuk makanan dan tingkat konsumsi untuk pangan asal ternak. Untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh variable-variabel karakteristik rumahtangga terhadap perilaku permintaan pangan hewani asal ternak, dilakukan pengembangan model AIDS dengan memasukkan variable-variabel karakteristik rumahtangga berupa pendidikan, pekerjaan dan pengetahuan gizi ibu rumahtangga. Tingkat konsumsi protein hewani asal ternak di wilayah perdesaan kota padang sudah melebihi tingkat yang disarankan oleh WNPG yaitu sebesar 11.12 gr/kapita/hari. Tingkat konsumsi protein hewani asal ternak rumahtangga di wilayah perdesaan koata padang semakin meningkat dengan meningkatnya pendapatan. Selain itu dari hasil penelitian juga terdapat perbedaan perilaku permintaan untuk komoditi daging sapi, daging ayam broiler dan telur ayam ras antara rumah tangga yang karakteristik ibu rumahtangga nya berbeda. Perbedaaan perilaku permintaan terhadapa daging sapi, daging broiler dan telur ayam ras lebih disebabkan oleh perbedaan variable tingkat pendidikan ibu rumahtangga dan tingkat gizi ibu rumahtangga.
