Item Perkembangan Pendidikan Masyarakat Asli ( Suku Hutan ) Kecamatan Kuala Kampar Kabupaten Pelalawan Tahun 2000-2010(2013-06-25) Yanto, EbiThe development of a nation can not be separated from the role of the individual and society, as individuals and communities involved in determining the process of development in the world of education. Education is the main subject in promoting a nation that would give birth to a development. The development will never stop; the process will recognize the existence of a change. Through education will result in qualified Human Resources. Contrary to the above facts about the importance of education, with the current era, the author sees the need to lift and examine how the development of education, especially in Native communities (Forest tribe) in Kuala Kampar district, which is still up in the field of education. The purpose of this study is to determine how much the development of the Indigenous Peoples Education (Suku Hutan) in Kuala Kampar district Pelalawan in the past 10 years from 2000-2010. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there are number of respondents /children who participate in education in the past 10 years starting in the 2000-2010 school elementary school (SD), Junior High School (SMP) and Senior High School (SMA) can be presented as follows: 1). Students who enter Elementary School were 86 people (245.714%). 2). Students who enter Junior High School were 36 people (102.857%). 3). Students who enter Senor High School were 11 people (31.42%). 4). Students who drop out of Elementary School were 8 people (22.85%). 5). Students who graduated from Elementary School were 78 (222.857%). 6). Students who graduated from Junior High School were 36 people (102.857%). 7). Students who graduated Senor High School were 11 people (31.42%). There are several factors driving the development of education in Native communities (Suku Hutan), among others Due to: 1). expansion region. 2). Regional autonomy. 3). free education. 4). the addition of the school. 5). as well, the emergence of consciousness the Indigenous Peoples (Suku Hutan) about the importance of education. In general, it can be concluded that the development of the Indigenous Peoples Education (Suku Hutan) in Kuala Kampar district changes such as an increase and reduction in each year but it is not yet maximally signifikant and so it is still very necessary to the overall improvement of the various parties.
