Item Hubungan Minat Menjadi Guru Dengan Keterampilan Mengajar Pada Mata Kuliah Micro Teaching(2013-07-26) Tamala, UsiThe purpose of this study is to know the relationship between the students‟ interest become teachers with the degree of teaching skills at the course of Micro Teaching, Student of the academic year 2010, majoring Accounting, in the Faculty of Education, Riau University. It is a survey sampling technique. The research subjects are students of the Study Program of Economic Education, majoring in Accounting academic year of 2010. They are 39 people. The research data is then analyzed by using the Correlation Technique of Product Moment The results showed that the count of r > r table = 0.610> 0.325, which the hypothesis is accepted due to „rh ≥ rt‟; meaning that there is a significant relationship between the interest become a teacher (variable X) with the teaching skills (variable Y) on the degree of Sig. 5%. It can be concluded that the interest become a teacher (var. X) has a strong relationship with the teaching skills (Y) which is acquired by students or teachers candidates. Also, it can be interpreted that there is a positive relationship between interest become teachers with teaching skills mastered. This is evident by looking at the magnitude of the rxy is equal to 0.610 ranged from 0.600 to 0.799 means having a positive correlation with strong ties. And by referring to the Table "df" at 37, at 5% significance level obtained rt = 0.325, while the significant level of 1% is obtained rt = 0.418. So the magnitude rxy 0.610 is greater than the magnitude rt 0.325 and 0.418. With those results of the study, it is expected to students to foster their high interest in their work or profession that will require in the future. It is important as a foundation to obtain maximum results. The Institution of teachers‟ training is also expected to provide measurable agenda on the phase of teaching exercises so that students will be able to attain mastery of teaching skills optimally
