The problem in this research is if assembling model of Cooperative Learning Type Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition ( CIRC ) is able to improve the skill of analyses legend story students class V SDN 102 Pekanbaru. This research method used research the class with using Cooperative Model CIRC at class V SDN 102 Pekanbaru with 20 students. This research has been did on September 2012. skill of analyses legend story gained from preliminary data on average is 58,2 with 35% or 7 students. After assembling cooperative learning model type Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition ( CIRC ). The cycle I test I get average 68,6 or with 70% or 14 students. Cycle II test II increased became 81, 6 with competence 95% ( very well ) or 19 students. The result of this research is with using Cooperative Learning Type Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition ( CIRC ) can improve the skill analyses of legend story student class V SDN 102 Pekanbaru.
