Item Pengaruh Sudut Kontak Statis Terhadap Dinamika Penjalaran Droplet yang Menumbuk Permukaan Panas di Atas Kondisi Wetting Limit Temperature dan Bilangan Weber Menengah(2013-05-06) Romy; Indarto; DeendarliantoThe effect of static contact angles on the spreading of droplet above wetting limit temperature has been studied experimentally. The various of cantact angles achived by using surface with treatments, they were stainless steel, stainless steel coated with TiO2 without UV light and stainless steel coated with TiO2 with UV light. Droplet substance was destilated water with initial diameter 2,41 mm. Impact energy was expressed in Weber number, they were 50,27; 60,85; and 71,44. Solid surface temperature was varied from 250−400oC with 5oC interval. As result, it was known that spreading factor increases due to the decreasing of static contact angle and increasing of Weber number. For the condition above wetting limit temperature, spreading factor increases due to the decreasing of static contact angle and the increasing of Weber number until radial breakup limit temperature. Above radial breakup limit temperature, spreading factor decreases due to the decreasing of static contact angle and the increasing of Weber number.Item Pengaruh Variasi Putaran Mesin, Komposisi Campuran Bioetanol Dan Tipe Vacuum Tube Terhadap Komsumsi Bahan Bakar Pada Motor Bakar Bensin Empat Langkah Satu Selinder(2015-10-27) Romy; Martin, Awaludin; Setiawan, AgusPemanfaatan bioetanol sebagai bahan bakar alternatif yang dapat diperbaharui (renewable) merupakan salah satu langkah yang dapat dilakukan dalam menjaga ketersedian energi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi putaran poros (3000, 3500, 4000, dan 4500 rpm), variasi komposisi campuran bahan bakar bensin dengan etanol (E20, E30 dan E40) dan pemasangan vacuum tube tipe 4Y2 dan Posh terhadap komsumsi bahan bakar. Sebagai hasil, diperoleh penggunaan vacuum tube dapat menghemat pemakaian campuran bahan bakar sampai putaran di bawah 4500 rpm, namun di atas 4000 rpm pemakaian vacuum tube tidak berpengaruh terhadap penghematan campuran bahan bakar. Vacuum tube Tipe Posh menghasilkan penghematan bahan bakar lebih baik dibandingkan dengan menggunakan vacuum tube Tipe 4Y2
