    FAMILI METODE ITERASI DENGAN KEKONVERGENAN ORDE TIGA

    In this paper, a new iterative method for solving a nonlinear equation is derived. Using Taylor expansion and geometry series, it is shown that the method has a third-order of convergence. Numerical comparisons show that this method can be used as an alternative method for solving a nonlinear equation.

    HUBUNGAN LAMA PENGEKANGAN DENGAN KOMUNIKASI ASERTIF PADA KLIEN PERILAKU KEKERASAN

    The aim of study is to determine a relationship between duration of restraint with assertive communication on the client violent behavior. The design of the research is a cross sectional analytic on long confinement with assertive communication, with sample as 30 respondents who have restraint in the inpatient unit. The sampling method used was purposive sample. The research uses questionnaire with 11 questions, the questionnaire thad been tested validity and reliability. The majority of the time restraints amounted short category to 20 persons (66,7%), and the majority client of assertive communication after restraint is 20 people (66,7%). The test result obtained chi square statistic p value = 0,419, it can be concluded that there was no association between duration of restraint with assertive communication client violent behavior. The result of this study recommend to nurses to carry out long restraint standards and practice assertive communication client violent behavior Tampan Mental Hospital Pekanbaru.
