A mother's role in children's education at home, obedience to the husband, pay attention to eat and drink with family and ownership savings average value of 2.23 category score enough. The role of agricultural extension got a score of 2.36 to a high category. Variables assessed the role of extension of several sub-variables, namely the role of educators as mentors, as organisaor and dynamic factor, as a technician, as a consultant, as educators, as leaders and as mentors. Development kelompoktani scored 1.8 with the score being. The main function is changing farmer behavior through non formal education so that farmers have a better life in a sustainable manner. This study aims to determine the profile of an effective agricultural extension in Tapung district, wich consists of the identity extension and farmer’s assessment of the nature of their extension, knowing outreach activities, as well as problems in extension activities in Tapung district. Research methods used in this study were three agricultural extension, as well as three farmers from each group of farmers who have achieved advanced and intermediate classes are supervised by agricultural extension sample. The results of this study indicate that the three samples of agricultural extension got a very good assessment of the properties owned by his assisted farmers. Success that has been achieved by the third extension is to guide the formation of farmer groups ranging from the ability to achieve a grade higher farmer groups. Problems faced by farmers is the lack of capital. Problem faced by the agricultural extension is the slow uptake of the technologi by farmers, the problem capital, and marketing networks that are less good. Efforts are being made by the agricultural extension in overcoming this source of financing is the plan, and build a network of cooperation between farmers and traders.Item Respon Petani Terhadap Program Sekolah Lapang Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (Sl-Ptt) Padi Sawah di Desa Pulau Birandang Kecamatan Kampar Timur Kabupaten Kampar(2013-06-25) Lestari, Wahyu; Rabesdini,Diana; Yusri,JumatriThe purpose of this research is to know farmer perception and response concerning Integrated Crop Management Field School (Sekolah Lapang Pengeloaan Tanaman Terpadu/SL-PTT) in the Pulau Birandang village. This research was conducted from May 2012 to September 2012. The method that the reasearch used was survey method, the purpose this research used descriptive analysis and Likert Scale. The sample take used by random sampling. The sampling of the research was 30 farmers SL-PTT participants. Farmer perception score against SL-PTT program at Pulau Birandang Village averagely 2.7 with a very good category. Farmers feel that this program is able to provide advantages compared with previously evidenced by increased production, with a good level of alignment means that components of a given technology in accordance with the needs and wishes of farmers, the complexity is not difficult component technology means farmers can do themselves, can be tried in whatever scale and easily observed in a relatively more quickly. From the aspect of knowledge, farmers expressed good response as more than 60% of the sample farmers have increased knowledge after completing my SL-PTT. Aspects of good expressed as changes in the attitude of farmers' attitudes towards innovation ranging from the familiar to want to apply. Aspects of skill has reached a condition where farmers have been skilled in the management of their farm.
