    FAKTOR INTRINSIK DAN EKSTRINSIK YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN TINGKAT KEMANDIRIAN LANSIA DALAM MELAKUKANAKTIVITASSEHARI-HARI

    This study aims to determine the intrinsic and extrinsic factors associated with the level of independence of the elderly in performing daily activities. This study uses a descriptive design with cross sectional correlation. Sample in this research is located in the Village of elderly Meranti Pandak with a sample of 79 respondents was drawn using cluster sampling technique. Measuring instruments used in the form of questionnaires and have tested the validity and reliability (r> 0.444). Analysis was used univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed an association such as: age, consuming drugs and elderly environment with a level of independence in performing activities of daily living (P value: 0,00; 0,04; and 0,00) and the results showed no correlation with the degree of independence of the elderly in performing daily activities, namely: type of illness and family support (P value: 0,06 and 0,20). Recommended for the elderly for health control in health care at least once a month and to the families of the elderly can provide material and non-material support to elderly health condition.

    HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK KELUARGA DAN JENIS PENYAKIT TERHADAP PEMANFAATAN PELAYANAN KESEHATAN

    The purpose of this research identify the characteristics of family relationships and the types of diseases to health care utilization. The study design used descriptive correlation with cross-sectional approach. The sample was head of the families who use health services both medical and non-medical. Sample size was 126 respondents using cluster sampling technique. Measuring instrument used questionnaire and have tested the validity and reliability. The analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. The results showed, there is a relationship between level of education and the amount of income with health care utilization (p value: 0.001 ; 0,050) and there is no relationship between age and health care utilization (p value 0.980 ; 0.780). Based on this study suggested that health practitioners to improve health promotion related to the utilization of health services so as to improve the health of society.

    HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA KADER POSYANDU DI KELURAHAN TANGKERANG SELATAN PEKANBARU

    The purpose of this research is to find out relation of motivation with performance of posyandu’s cadres in Tangkerang Selatan Pekanbaru. The methodology on this research is a descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The sample on this research is cadres of posyandu. The number of sample is 68 respondents who were taken by total sampling technique. The measurement instrument of this research is questionnaire with 33 questions that have tested with validity and reliability test for two times to 20 different respondents with r-count bigger than r-table (0.444). These research used the univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test. Based on the statistical result, there was relation between motivation and performance of posyandu’s cadre in Tangkerang Selatan Pekanbaru (p-value<0.05). Based on these results, the health care provider (Puskesmas) is expected to support the posyandu’s programs such as in facilities and training of cadres, especially in training of the duties and responsibilities of cadre and motivate cadres of posyandu with give a reward for cadres achievement like a certificate in order to increase the motivation of cadres.
