    POLITIK MOBILISASI DALAM KONTEKS PEMILIHAN UMUM KEPALA DAERAH LANGSUNG KOTA PEKANBARU TAHUN 2011

    This study aimed to describe the actors involved in mobilizing and actors mobilized in direct elections of regional heads in the city of Pekanbaru Year 2011 and discuss the strategies undertaken to mobilize support in the general election of regional heads straight Pekanbaru City in 2011. The usefulness of this study are as material information about the people or the individuals involved in winning one of the candidates, so as to provide input to the government officials and even people not to do something that is to win one pair of candidates. So that the realization of elections in accordance with the principle that Luber and Jurdil. The method used in this study is qualitative methods of data that can not be expressed in terms of numbers but in the form of an explanation that describes the shape of the state, a process, a particular event. Data collection techniques by using interviews, documentation and observation. To carry out elections by Luber and Jurdil needed awareness on the importance of a general election. From the research it can be concluded that the political mobilization in the context of direct elections of regional heads of Pekanbaru in 2011 influenced by awareness, tribal, and local context
