    DAMPAK SANITASI LINGKUNGAN DI KELURAHAN PASIR KECAMATAN PARIAMAN TENGAH KOTA PARIAMAN

    Lack of public awareness in maintaining environmental sanitation will result in pollution of the coastal environment. This situation can produce a variety of environmental sanitation problems in coastal settlements by high community activities on the beach and household discharges that cannot be accommodated and recycled by nature. This research was conducted in Pasir Subdistrict, Pariaman Tengah Subdistrict, Pariaman City, which aims to determine the condition of environmental sanitation and overcome its impact on public health in the Pasir Subdistrict. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The population in this study was 379 households in 7 RTs in Pasir District. The results showed that: 1) the number of household heads who had access to a family toilet / shared latrine in accordance with technical requirements (having a goose neck toilet connected to a septic tank) was 104 households out of 216 households, 2) the condition of environmental drainage in the location of the settlement can not be said to be good because it does not meet the technical requirements for the operation of the urban drainage system, 3) the family has not been connected technically with household sewage and drainage, this has an impact on environmental health which can cause various diseases. From the results of the research that has been carried out it can be concluded that environmental sanitation in the Kelurahan Pasir is in a bad condition, seen from drinking water sources, family latrines, SPAL (sewerage), and the regularity of the building does not meet technical requirements because the community does not know the importance of maintaining environment sanitation. The impact arising from the lack of awareness of environmental sanitation maintenance is the emergence of various diseases such as diarrhea, diarrhea, typhus, dengue fever and others

    It is always said that health is the right of all people and society, but always inequality and inequality occur in human life. Public parties are unable to realize equal rights in getting equal health. The variety of health a person receives is due to human factors, the source of disease and the environment as a medium. This paper tries to answer how there is inequality in people / communities in receiving and getting health and what causes these health inequalities. The analysis was carried out by developing and modifying Gordon's environmental health concepts and combining them with human health concepts. The formulation can be used as a pattern to see and analyze the phenomena of public health.

    Well-being is the desire for all human beings, whether consciously or not. Almost all living activities are to achieve prosperity, but behind that well-being is not static, and he is very dynamic and has a tendency to change with the changing environment. The reality of life shows tiredness for the level of well-being in life even further, especially for quality of life and life satisfaction. The environment is very significant contributing to the low achievement for well-being. This study tries to see the main reasons and basis for the low achievement of well-being, especially related to the quality of life and the influence of the environment

    Konsep Dan Proses Sosialisasi Dalam Amdal Dan Pembangunan (Studi kasus: Pembangunan Jembatan layang Lubuk-Buaya Padang)

    Development aims to change from a condition to a better condition, however this effort also has a negative (risk) impact on the environment and includes the communities within it. In the effort of environmentally safe development activities, almost every potential or significant development activity on environmental damage is required to conduct an Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA). Risk reduction efforts or damage to the environment is only limited to the extent to which a development activity can be run. While the people who become the object of development that is accommodated in the form of socialization, is still not optimal. Is socialization only limited to introduce EIA activity process to society or socialization also introduce and also involve society in development activity. Socialization is a significant factor in creating a successful process of development activities and EIA activities and not merely introducing but further involving the community in the overall development process. Socialization activity is an activity of internalization of new culture (development) into society life or change society into development purpose. Bringing people together to engage especially those directly affected by activities in the development plan will be able to act as agents of change in the development. An important or significant role is the socialization activity is to minimize the gap between the planned development activities to be conducted with the community. The research was conducted on several socialization of EIA study and analyzed through concept formulation and socialization process in change theory.
