Coloform bacteria are a group of bacteria that live in the digestive tract. spring water in sikumbang hill village of sarak island, kampar sub-district is used by people in the village for drinking water sources. springs emerge from natural soil. This study aims to determine the bacteriological quality of drinking water from the spring waters of the sikumbang hill village of Sarak Island. The purpose of this study is to find out the level of pollution in Several Drinking Water Sources in the Work Area of the IV Koto Control Center in 2019. The study uses the MPN Coli method and this is descriptive by examining 3 sources of drinking water, dug wells, PAM water and river water in Village of Control. Data analysis using MPN Coli Variance table 1 and 2. The results of this study found 2 drinking water samples did not meet health requirements PERMENKES number 492 year 2010, that is dug wells and PAM Water And then 1 sample qualified health that is river water. The results can be used by the community as information in the use of drinking water.
