Item Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Ekstrak Tepung Buah Sirih Hutan (Pipper aduncum L) Untuk Mengendalikan Hama Kutu Daun Persik Myzus pesicae Sulzer (Homoptera: Aphididae) Pada Tanaman Cabai (Capsicum annuum L.)(2013-02-05) Daud, Ahmad; Rustam,Rusli; Laoh,J. HennieRed pepper (Capsicum annum L.) constitute one of the important vegetable commercially to cultivated in the tropics and have high economic value. Cultivation of chilli in riau have continued increases very fast, but in production of chilli very decrease. One of causes production of chilli decrease is incursion from peach aphids (Myzus persicae) pest. which damage the plant by sucking the liquid in the plant tissue. Effort control this pest still to use synthetic chemical insecticides, but synthetic insecticides can cause negative effects such as pest resistance and pest resurgence. To remember impacts negative of use synthetic insecticides, so I have sought other method solution to control peach aphids pest with safe and effective. With application vegetable insecticides using the fruit betel forest (Piper aduncum L.). The fruit betel forest can to control peach aphids (Myzus persicae) on the chili of plant. This research was conducted at the Pest of Plant Laboratory Faculty Agriculture Riau University Campus Bina Widya in Pekanbaru that lasted for 3 month (February to may). The research was conducted using design random of completely (RAL) method with 5 handling and 5 repetition there SRH0 (without extract flour the fruit betel forest) SRH1 (with extract flour the fruit betel forest 25g/L of water) SRH2 (with extract flour the fruit betel forest 50g/L of water) SRH3 (extract flour the fruit betel forest 75g/L of water) SRH4 (with extract flour the fruit betel forest 100g/L of water). Concentration extract flour the fruit betel forest 75g/L of water is an appropriate concentration in controlling the aphid Myzus persicae pest with the percentage of total mortality by 90% and value LC95 amounted to 7.15%.Item Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Tepung Akar Tuba (Derris elliptica Benth) Terhadap Mortalitas Kutu Daun Aphis glycines Matsumura (Homoptera : Aphididae) pada Tanaman Kedelai(2013-07-27) Sistomo, Didit Yeri; Laoh,J. Hennie; Sutikno, AgusThis study aims to find and obtained the exact concentration of tuba root powder to control Aphis glycines on soybean (Glycines max L. Merrill). The research conducted experimentally using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments (T0 = 0%; T1 = 0,2%; T2 = 0,4%; T3 = 0,6%; T4 : 0,8% dan T5 = 1%) and 4 replications. The data has been analyzed using variance and further using Duncan's New Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The results showed that 0.6% tuba root powder is effective to control aphids A. glycines because it is able to kill A glycines up to 91.66%. Based on probit test using POLO program, lethal concentration 50% (LC50) A. glycines is 0.14% or 0-0.2% and lethal concentration 95% (LC95) A. glycines is 0.69% or 0.6-0.8%.Item Uji Tingkat Ketinggian Perangkap Feromon Untuk Mengendalikan Kumbang Tanduk Oryctes rhinoceros l ( Coleoptera : Scarabaeidae ) Pada Tanaman Kelapa Sawit(2013-01-26) Herman; Laoh,J. Hennie; Salbiah, DesitaOryctes rhinoceros L is one of the major pest of oil palm plantation which can cause damage to 69%. Attacks sheath of leaf that has not been opening and the growing point, this cause disruption of plant growth. Conventional control usually used by the farmer is by using chemical insecticides which can result negative impacts to humans and environment. The use of aggregation pheromons is an alternative control to reduce the population of Oryctes rhinoceros in the field which save for humans and environment. The purpose of this reseach is to obtain the effective height of pheromone traps for Oryctes rhinoceros beetle, and conducted in the oil palm plantation owned by the farmers in four villages located in the district of Tambang. Using a Randomizeed Block Design ( RBD) with three treatments and four replications. The treatments are trap heights, 2 meters, 3 meters and 4 meters. The parameters measured were the first time Oryctes rhinoceros L traped, the number of Orycte rhinoceros males trapped, the number of Oryctes rhinoceros females was trapped, the number of Oryctes rhinoceros males and females was trapped. The results indicate that the addition of the height of traps do not influence the treatmants. 4 meters trap can trap more, that is 14.5 Oryctes rhinoceros beetle during 6 weeks.
