    Marriage of minors, sometimes occur not had the same under the age between men and women. Sometimes men have a sufficient level of maturity, but that women are still under. But sometimes there is a marriage together under. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of underage marriages in the village Sentajo Kopung Island District Middle District of Kuantan Kuantan Singingi To determine the function of the family in couples who marry under the age of at Island Village Kopung Sentajo Middle District of Kuantan Kuantan District Singingi?. The results of this study showed that of the 20 respondents, many respondents are married under the age of 16 years in as many as 6 people or 30%, and at the age of 17 years as many as 5 people or 25%, and at the age of 18 years as much as 4 people or 20%, and 19 years as much as 2 people or 10%, and the age for marriage is 20 years as much as 3 years or 15%. Cause a person to get married under the age was pregnant before getting married as many as 3 couples, this is due to the influence of the action and interaction of the juvenile or the child's social and family environment that is less control of the parents, whereas according to the wishes of each self as much as 2 pairs or 20.0%, that they think marriage is the best way to make things happen is not undesirable. And based on the lack of the economy as much as 2 pairs or 20.0%, Since the marriage can reduce the burden on families who have a lot of dependents. Followed by the respondents were married at a young age due to habit married or betrothed at a young age by 1 pairs or 10.0%, due to respect local customs and obedient to parents, while respondents who drop by 2 pairs of 10 pairs of respondents. Based on results of the present study, suggest that these data can be used as a basis for the development of under-age marriage material.
