The research method used is Quasi experiments with control group. Samples taken as many as 60 people, 30 for the control group and 30 to the experimental group using purposive sampling. analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the test wil-Coxon and mann-whitney test results found no differences in knowledge before and after administration of health education (p value = 0.000) and also the difference of knowledge between the experimental group and the control group (p value = 0.000). It is suggested to the company in order to provide information to employees and conduct training. For health workers is expected to provide information on risk analysis in particular accidents to the workers.Item Evaluasi Karakteristik Hortikultura Hibrida Melon (Cucumis melo L.) Introduksi Dan Hasil Rakitan PKBT IPB(2015-08-04) Isnaini; Sobir; Suwarno, Willy BayuardiThe objective of this experiment was to evaluate and characterize horticultural traits of introduced and PKBT‟s melon hybrids and to identify the potential PKBT‟s hybrids compare to those of the commercial introduced hybrids. The experiment was conducted at KP IPB Tajur 2 from September to November 2009 using Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. The genotype variability was analyzed using analysis of variance method. The result showed that there are significant differences for all characters. H150 is a PKBT‟s Cantaloupe melon hybrid that had a high TSS (10.02% Brix) and skin hardnes. H7, an Inodorus cultivar, has some potential characteristics. This hybrid has the highest TSS (10.50% Brix) than the other Inodorus hybrids. PKBT‟s hybrids has harder fruit and higher TSS but has longer day to harvest than introduced hybrids. Var. Cantaloupensis has higher skin hardness but has lower fruit weight and longer harvest day than var. Inodorus.
