    “Batalam” Tradisi Masyarakat Minang Kabau Di Kanagarian Andaleh Kecamatan Luak Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota

    "Batalam" tradition is one part of the traditional Minangkabau society, particularly in Kanagarian Andaleh Luak District Lima Puluh Kota. Batalam tradition is still not contaminated by the values from the outside to these days, and its existence still nurtured by the community. The study, entitled: "Batalam" Tradition Of Minangkabau Indigenous In Kanagarian Andaleh Luak District Lima Puluh Kota has an objective to know the meaning of Batalam tradition for Kanagarian Andaleh community and to analyze public perceptions about implementation of Batalam tradition in Kanagarian Andaleh. The type of this research is considered a qualitative study, therefore the research informants are the public figure consisting of traditional leaders, religious leaders, and others including women and youth leaders who is considered to understand about the meaning and directly involved in implementation of batalam tradition in Kanaagarian Andaleh which use Snowball sampling technique. Batalam as a form of relationship that is bound by reciprocity norm and as social capital. The community has not been aware of it as a tough burden that is difficult to achieve, due to the subsistence ethics is still function and being values which still to be realized. The expectation for the community and public figure in Kanagarian Andaleh is to nurture the positive values which has been internalized in Batalam tradition. For the nomads is needed to be participated to implement batalam tradition as a binding condition with relatives in the hometown. In addition, to be compared with overseas community. For local government, it is expected as ways in attempt to explore the potential of culture to be a cultural icon and needs to be developed its existence, then it can be one of the opportunities in the development of Minangkabau culture and tourism particularly in Limapuluh Kota as well.

    Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Dalam Aksi “Harau Menuju Dunia” Di Kawasan Wisata Alam Lembah Harau Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Provinsi Sumatera Barat

    The community necessity of the tourism increases together with the global economic growth until the tourism Industry development becomes the one of priorities that is concerned by government. “Community Empowerment in the action of Harau Goes to the World in the Tourism of Harau Valley, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, West Sumatera Province” purposes to find out the community involvement in managing tourism area and the effort of community empowerment by the government and the community itself in developing the tourism of Harau Valley. This is the qualitative research. The community figure and the stakeholder are the informants in the management and the development of this tourism area. According to the survey, there are some destinations can be promoted in Harau, for example; rocky climbing, lodging, family play zone, culinary and camping ground that the management and the development are done by the community cooperates with the government. Community-based tourism need to be concerned so the management and the development of these destinations head to the sustainable tourism. The identification of the tourism potential and the resources need to be upgraded professionally. Transportation, accommodation and community capability must be considered to increase the bargaining and the visitors’ satisfaction. The role of local government; department of tourism and the community figure are needed to empower the community and to promote the tourism to bring into reality “Harau Goes to the World”.

    Pengelolaan Kelompok Usaha Bersama Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas Di Kecamatan Tualang Kabupaten Siak

    Kehidupan yang layak dan sejahtera merupakan idaman dari setiap manusia dimanapun berada, demikian juga halnya dengan kondisi fisik yang sehat dan sempurna sebagai modal utama manusia dalam menjalani kehidupan. Pasal 27 ayat (2) UUD RI 1945, menyebutkan bahwa “Tiap-tiap warga negara berhak atas pekerjaan dan penghidupan yang layak bagi kemanusiaan”. Ayat ini merupakan wujud dari pengakuan dan jaminan bagi semua orang untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan dan mencapai tingkat kehidupan yang layak bagi kemanusiaan. Kecacatan menyebabkan seseorang mengalami keterbatasan atau gangguan yang mempengaruhi keleluasaan aktivitas fisik, kepercayaan dan harga diri, hubungan antar manusia maupun dengan lingkungan sosialnya. Masyarakat penyandang disabilitas kurang mampu melaksanakan peran-peran sosialnya secara wajar dan hal ini yang semakin meyakini pandangan masyarakat untuk meremehkan kemampuan penyandang cacat dengan kekurangan fisiknya. Perguruan Tinggi dan pemerintah harus berpartisipasi mensukseskan program pemberdayaan masyarakat, termasuk terhadap kelompok masyarakat yang terdiri dari para pengandang disabilitas. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi terhadap Penyandang disabilitas di Kecamatan Tualang untuk tetap berjuang mempertahankan kehidupan dengan menggali potensi yang ada, baik pada diri sendiri, keluarga dan sesama penyandang disabilitas

    Penyuluhan Penyelenggaraan Jenazah Menurut Syariah Islam Di Rw 02 Kelurahan Air Putih Kecamatan Tampan

    Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjudul “Penyuluhan jenazah menurut Syariat Islam di RW 02 Kelurahan Air Putih Kecamatan Tampan”. Metode yang dipakai penyluhan peserta berjumlah 30 orang, 10 laki-laki, 20 perempuan. Tujuan dari penyuluhan ini supaya masyarakat RW 02 Kelurahan Air Puih Kecamatan Tampan lebih mengetahui, memahami pelaksanaan jenazah sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Hasil dari penyuluhan masyarakat yang mengikuti penyuluhan, sudah dapat melaksanakan jenazah lebih terampil sesuai dengan Syariat Islam secara bergantian.

    Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berjudul “Penyuluhan Penyelenggaraan Jenazah Menurut Syariah Islam Di RW 10 Kelurahan Limbungan Baru”. Metode yang dipakai penyuluhan peserta berjumlah 30 orang, 20 laki-laki. 10 perempuan. Tujuan dari penyuluhan ini supaya masyarakat RW 10 Kelurahan Limbungan Baru lebih mengetahui, memahami pelaksanaan jenazah sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Hasil darir penyuluhan masyarakat yang mengikuti penyuluhan, sudah dapat melaksanakan jenazah lebih terampil sesuai dengan Syariat Islam.

    Perilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat ( PHBS) Dalam Keluarga Di Desa Pulau Padang Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

    Health is the main capital for every human being to be able to run activities in everyday life both in the family surroundings and (domestic) and outside the family surroundings activities (public). This research entitled "Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS) of Family in Pulau Padang Village, Singingi Sub-district Kuantan Singingi Regency". The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of clean and healthy life behavior (PHBS) in the family in Pulau Padang Village and to know the factors that influence the implementation of clean and healthy life behavior (PHBS) in it. The research method is quantitative, with simple random sampling (random sampling). Public health behavior in Pulau Padang Village is predominantly achieve middle-level health, although some of them are reaching healthy and full healthy level. However, the number of families who have reached two levels is not maximized. The results shows that the most of the study respondents has clean and healthy life behavior in middle category. Several factors that are considered to have an effect on public health behavior in Pulau Padang Village, Singingi Subdistrict, among others, because the level of knowledge of some people who are still relatively low, as well as the low income, the work that is generally done by the community is still related belong to nature, become hereditary behavior.
