Item PENGARUH KONSENTRASI DAN JUMLAH INJEKSI CHEMICAL REVERSE DEMULSIFIER PADA PROSES PEMECAHAN EMULSI(2012-12-10) Kurniawan, Warih; Padil; Fermi M. IwanIn the petroleum exploration industry with water flooding technology, the process starts from injection a specific temperature water into the oil reservoir rocks for push oil to the surface of earth with artificial lift. At the surface facilities, water that mixed with oil will be separated by separator, wash tank and clarifier tanks. Oil stored in shipping tanks and water stored in the surge tank. Water will inject to reservoir or will discharge to environment. Based on regulation Ministry of Environment Indonesia No 42 (1996), oil contaminated in water that can discharge into environment maximal 25 mg/l. To meet the quality, chemical reverse demulsifier will be injected with appropriate doses and concentrations to degrade oil contamination in water (emulsion). The purpose of this research is determined the effect of concentration and injection volume of reverse demulsifier. Beside them is seeking concentration and injection volume of reverse demulsifier that appropriate in Minas oil field of Indonesia on the water flooding technology. The research method is injected reverse demulsifier with various volumes from 0,001 ml till 0,010 ml that will be varied in concentrations 10% till 100%. The samples taken from Minas oil field with oil content 150 mg/l. The most effective and efficient of injection result on 0,009 ml with concentration 70% which can reduce oil content up to 21,34 mg/l.
