Item Enrichment of artificial feed with vitamin E for gonadal maturation of Mali Fish (Labeobarbus festivus)(2018-02-13) Aryani, Netti; Efawani, Efawani; Asiah, NurThe aim the research is to increase the reproductive potential of L. festivus female that is time matured gonads, somatic ovi index, fecundity, egg diameter, hatching rate and time to hatching in the control group (feed without enrichment of vitamin E) and exposed to 150 mg/kg, 300 mg/kg, 450 mg/kg feed of vitamin E. Treatment of vitamin E levesls were significant (p<0.05) different with respect to time ripe gonads, ovi somatic index, fecundity and egg diameter. Females exposed to 300 μg/kg feed of vitamin E can increased time matured gonads 67 days, somatic ovi index 14.95%, absolute fecundity 13547 eggs/spaw, relative fecundity 98 eggs/g gonado weight and egg diameter 1.16 mm. But hatching rate and time to hatching did not different between the treatments (p>0.05).Item Pemanfaatan Bahan Baku Alternatif Sebagai Sumber Protein Dalam Pakan Untuk Memacu Pertumbuhan Benih Ikan Baung (Mystus nemurus CV)(2015-04-16) Suharman, Indra; Asiah, NurPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persentase tepung eceng gondok terfermentasi yang terbaik dalam formulasi pakan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan efisiensi pakan ikan baung. Item Pemeliharaan Larva Ikan Katung (Pristolepis Grooti Bleeker) Dengan Pemberian Pakan Awal Berbeda(2018-02-13) Alawi, Hamdan; Ariyani, Netti; Asiah, NurThe Indonesian Leaffish, Pristolepis grooti is one of endangered species found in some river system in Indonesia. The demanded and good culture candidate species for which the development of larval raring techniques are needed for large scale. A study was conducted to assess the effects of different type of feeds on growth and survival rate of the larva for 35 days rearing period. The experiment was designed on completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, each with 3 replications. Four different feeds were tested, viz. AR (Artemia nauplii), TB (tubificid worms), WF (Water Flea, Daphnia and Moina) and BE (Boiled chicken egg yolk). Induced bred larvae (10-day old) were reared in 20 liters glass aquarium with a recirculation water system During the experimental period the larvae were fed to satiation three times a day. The water quality variables such as temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, free ammonia, were found within acceptable limit of larval rearing. The larvae fed tubificid worms had significantly highest (P<0.05) growth (percent length gain (423.3±37.3), percent weight gain (13905.5±567.6), specific growth rate (14.1±0.1) and survival (63.3±16.1) followed by Artemia nauplii and water Flea and boiled chickedn egg yolk. Therefore, tubificid worms may be suggested for feeding Indonesian leaffish larvae up to stockable size.Item Pengaruh Kadar Protein Pakan Terhadap Penampilan Pertumbuhan, Kematangan Gonad Dan Fekunditas Ikan Katung (Pristolepis Grooti Bleeker) Matang Gonad Pertama(2018-02-13) Alawi, Hamdan; Aryani, Netti; Asiah, NurThe effect of three protein levels of commercial diet on the growth performance, gonad maturation and fecundity of first maturity of Indonesian leaffish (Pritolepis grooti) was conducted in 54 liters recirculation aquaria system for 10 months rearing period. Eight-week-old artificial spawned Indonesian leaffish katung (Pristolepis grooti Bleeker)) fry with an average weight (SD) of 0.560(0.116) g were fed 5% BW three times a day with commercial diets 18, 28 and 38% Protein. Fish fed on 38% protein diet showed better growth and feed conversion ratio than those fed on 28 and 18% diets. Males matured earlier than females: the firstmature males were recorded when they were 5 months old, whereas the females matured after 6 month rearing period. The mean percentage of mature female fish rose with increasing feed protein level. It was also found that the percentage of mature fish rose with the increasing fish age and size. More than 70% males matured at the age of 6 months in all diet. After 10 months rearing period, the percentage of matured female fed on 38% protein was 100% while those fed on 16% protein was 25%. Smallest size at spawning of males and females was 8.5 cm (23 g) and 13 cm (65 g), respectively, and dietary protein levels influenced the size of fish at first maturity. It was found that the protein level significantly effected the gonado somatic index (GSI). Fecundity increased with increasing dietary protein level. The relative fecundity (eggs /g or cm female) was higher at the higher dietary protein level.
