    STUDY DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION KURAU NETS FISHING GEAR USED IN TELUK PAMBANG VILLAGE BANTAN SUBDISTRIC BENGKALIS DISTRIC RIAU PROVINCE

    The research was conducted in June 2012 in Bay Village Pambang Bantan Bengkalis District of Riau Province. This study aims to identify and provide information about the construction of a net gear Kurau in detail. The method used in this study is a survey method. The results showed that the net gear Kurau using multifilament material blue with 974.4 m long, rope buoy and rope ris up using the same material is PE (Polyethilene), Wrist strap ballast ris up also use the same material that is PP (Polypropilene) and use 3440 as buoy that from PP material (Polypropilene), used 645 as ballast that made of cement flat round and also used peluntang as many as 15 peluntang with PVC material (Polyvinyl Chloride).
