    Penerapan Teknik Membaca Dalam Hati untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Memahami Paragraf Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 007 Pulau Tinggi Kecamatan Kampar Oleh Hamizi1, Eddy Noviana2, Syamsuar Alamsyah3 Abstract The aim of this research is to improve student's ability in understanding paragraph. The setting of the problem in this research, "is the application of silent reading improve students’ ability in understanding paragraph amog students of class V SD Negeri 007 Pulau Tinggi Kecamatan Kampar?". Hypothesis of this research is silent reading can improve students’ ability in understanding paragraph among students of class V SD Negeri 007 Pulau Tinggi Kecamatan Kampar. Data collection is done by observation technique understanding test. Before, student's is only in the number of 30% of clasical accomplishment number 70, cycle 1 in the second meeting, student have improfment with individual accoplishment number 80, cycle II first meeting in the number of 80, cycle II second meeting in the number of 81. Based on hypotesis stated before, we can say that application of silent reading improve students’ ability in understanding paragraph among students class V SD Negeri 007 Pulau Tinggi Kecamatan Kampar can be received.
