Abstract:
This article discusses the Holt-Winters forecasting method that takes into account
the effect of Eid. This method is used to predict total domestic passenggers departing
in 5 major ports in Indonesia. Then a comparison is carried out between the method
of Holt-Winters and Holt-Winters methods that take into account the effect of Eid.
The comparison is done by comparing the mean square error obtained by both
methods of forecasting.
