Abstract:
PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk Pekanbaru is a company engaged in construction
services. As a construction company, the timing of product offerings to countless projects
ranging implemented relatively long time. But the company is a national company so there is
no time for idle. It is can cause stress due to work performed by the employee. The purpose of
research to determine program Occupational Health Safety (K3) and the compensation effect
simultaneously on the employee's performance at PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk Pekanbaru
and to determine program Occupational Health Safety (K3) and partially compensating effect
on the performance of employees at PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk Pekanbaru.
The population in this study were employees at the construction and engineering
field as many as 80 people, while 40% of the samples taken from a population of 32 people.
Analysis of the research is on the use of quantitative descriptive analysis to determine how
much influence indenpenden variable to variable denpenden.
Based on the results of the study to simultaneously have a relationship with the
dependent variable. This means that the variable compensation programs K3 and significant
effect on the performance of employees of PT. Wijaya Karya Tbk Pekanbaru. Furthermore,
the partial compensation variables significantly influence the performance of employees of
PT. Wijaya Karya Tbk Pekanbaru. Based on the calculation of the value of coefficient of
determination (R Square) obtained a value of 0570. This shows that the program k3 and
compensation by 57% influence on employee performance. The rest are other variables that
are not included into the study.
