dc.description.abstract Coagulation is a process of destabilizing colloidal loads with a substance called coagulant. This study studied the coagulation of synthetic mud water samples using alum coagulant. Coagulation was carried out by the magnetic stirrer method at 200 rpm (fixed stirring) with a stirring time variation of 1; 2; 3 and 4 minutes. Parameters observed in this study were color, turbidity and TDS (Total Dissolve Solid). The optimal stirring time was 3 minutes with efficiency of removal 99.88% for color, 100% of turbidity and 6.47% of TDS (Total Dissolve Solid) en_US
