dc.description.abstract Some species of fungus have the ability to produce good and useful secondary metabolites. One of them is Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1 which is a species of Trichoderma sp. The fungus Trichoderma asperellum LBKURCC1 is Trichoderma strain which is isolated from the soil of chocolate plantations in Riau. This strain was isolated based on its ability to produce chitinase, but it turns out to produce cellulase and other enzymes. The purpose of this research is to determine the growth curve of T. asperellum LBKURCC1 hence the optimum time to produce enzymes is known. This research used PDA as media and fungus isolates with time span of 0 until 10 days. The results showed that the optimum time to produce enzymes is 2 days. This result confirmed that the exponential phase of 2 days is the optimum time to produce T. asperellum LBKURCC1 enzymes en_US
